The iPod Touch is a very popular MP3 player which many people use primarily for listening to music. A common question for those who desire to manage their music is how do I delete songs from my iPod touch? There are two ways to delete songs from the device. The easiest way to accomplish this task is through the computer that you use to sync it with. Plug the iPod Touch in to the computer using the USB port. After opening iTunes, click on “manually manage music and videos” that is under the “summary” tab on the left hand of the screen.
Locate “devices” and click on the icon for your iPod Touch. Then select “music” from the menu that drops down. All the songs that are stored on your iPod Touch will show in iTunes. Click the songs that you want to delete and as each one is clicked, press “delete” on the keyboard.
Another option after you have the stored songs displayed is to right click on each song that is to be deleted. Once you right click on the song you can scroll down until you see the option to delete and click on it. This will delete the song directly from the iPod Touchs menu.
